The remnants of Winter Hibernation were slower to shake off this year so I didn’t really feel like going out
but after giving myself a stern talking to I headed out into the sunny afternoon and up onto the coastal hills.
Surrounded with vibrant colours it didn’t take long to tune in
I love it when the finer details become apparent… it could be a young Fern ready to launch
or Patterns in the Sky… or trying to count the Spots on a Ladybird
all this exertion has zapped my energy so time to break out the brew kit… today it has to be strong black Coffee.

With Liquid Stimulant at the ready all that’s missing is something to eat.
No self respecting Bimbler would dream of heading out for an adventure without Snacks.
Today it’s Apricot and Chia Energy Balls.
Here’s how I make them…
Chopped Apricots
Chia Seeds
Coconut Flakes
Sesame Seeds
Rose Water
Coconut Oil
Blitz everything in a blender until it’s not too coarse then roll the mixture into balls… it’s as easy as that!
*get creative with different variations and let me know if you come up with a winning formula.
As well as being delicious these deliver slow release energy which is handy for counteracting the inevitable Coffee comedown!
with a predictable surge of get up and go it’s time to carry on
It’s really worth making the effort to go out regularly to look at the surroundings though inquisitive eyes
Just take plenty of Caffeine to keep you buzzing!
