First up you need to catch a passing cloud… Cumulonimbus seem to work best
Should you have difficulty in grabbing hold of one… nip down to your local chemist and buy some cotton wool balls and petroleum jelly
Rub the petroleum jelly into the wool with your finger tips until it’s mixed in well but not saturated. It should end up looking a little bit like clean sheep fleece
It’s as simple as that. Keep some in a ziplock bag for fire starting in any weather
Fire clouds only take a couple of minutes to make, are incredibly easy to light and burn for long enough to build your fire up with dry twigs and sticks. Light them with matches, a lighter or for extra Kudos use a fire steel instead. Give it a go… Tutorials rarely get any simpler than this
